My love of photography began somewhere between childhood and adolescence, when my dad gave me my first SLR camera for Christmas. Since then I have explored the world through the lens, with everything imaginable... from crudely constructed pinholes to my trusty iphone cam.
I am... bittersweet... cynical, spontaneous, passionate, idealistic... fickle, sensitive, creative, ambidextrous... analytical, shy, inquisitive, discriminating, goofy, reticent... romantic at heart. I like... good strong coffee, mary janes, lip gloss... french flicks, pinhole cameras, being crafty... polaroids, road trips, pictures of chairs... cowboy boots, blues on vinyl, jameson neat... ambient light, amidol and segull, cyanotypes, learning new things... ribbons in my hair, sand between my toes... the smell of vanilla, sriracha on everything, boys on motorcycles, vintage porn and pin-up girls... used bookstores, pages that speak volumes with either words or images alone... dancing the tango, sushi, flip flops, fortune cookies, apples with peanut butter... missing san francisco, losing track of time in the darkroom... and i love the last hour before the sun goes down... i like ice cream on a cone, any cone. i love lazy sundays. i get bored easily and i love red shoes.
